The Käppelehof is a farm in family
The Käppelehof is in the middle of nature on a hill surrounded by beautiful views of meadows and woods directly in the southern Black Forest.
We are located about 750 m above the sea level, about 3 km from the climatic spa Tennenbronn.
Our "Käppele" (Chapel) is the namesake of the Käppelehofs. Since 1754 this small chapel in colorful cottage garden has its place, one of our farm. From 1984 to 1986 it was restored in effort, and with much love. Still hosts regular baptisms and weddings.
Still very much older are the remains of a castle, to which the Court originally belonged. They can be found even today on our property.
Explore the way to the remains of the castle Ramstein and enjoy the view over the Bernecktal, then you will understand why the lords chose this place.
On our family run farm live about 13 dairy cows and their calves, fattening cattle, pigs, rabbits, chickens, cats and of course a farm dog. We have sown crops, grassland, forestry and build mainly potatoes and corn on. Our animals are fed exclusively on our farm (with their own products).
We invite you to join us in our work in the barn, fields and meadows or help.
Let us show you how the daily flow at the farm work.
